Any thoughts on why I would be getting the error message?:

"Invalid variable in a connection string."

I looked at the ConnectionString in the .dspx document and it looks correct to me. In fact, the application was working great until I moved it to a new server.  This is what it looks like:

<query id="Query1" dataProvider="msSql" connectionString="server=aaa.bbb.ccc.dd;uid=MyUserID;pwd=MyPassword;database=MyDatabase">

Could it be security related?  I did some searching on it and did not find anything at all.  Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!

To add to the details, here is the call stack that is captured when it fails:

System.Web.HttpUnhandledException: Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> ceTe.DynamicPDF.ReportWriter.DplxParseException: Invalid variable in a connection string.

Okay, I solved the problem.  It turns out that it was caused by special characters being a part of the password.  Since the .dspx file is an XML Document, I guess that the special characters would have to be escaped for the document to be well formed.  In the end, I removed the special characters and changed the password in the database and the error went away.
DooD, get a grip, you fokked up the password!
