How to add dynamic label in pdf

I am trying to access the name of person from the database and i want to add that name on the right hand corner of the page.but when i trying to do this its throwing Exception java.lang.NullPointerException. Please help.

1. Code used to add the label to the page.
2. Existing PDF if any used.
3. Complete exception message, including stack trace. 
4. Version and build number of the DynamicPDF jar file used.
