It would be a time saver (both development wise and processing wise) for the rasterizer to let me know if a page needs to be rasterized to color, or if it can save time and rasterize to grayscale.

Hello,

Currently there is nothing in the Rasterizer API that will let you know if the page needs to be rasterized to color or grayscale in order to save time.

Thanks,
ceTe Software Support Team.

Are there any plans to add this in a future release? I am rasterizing very large documents (> 10000 pages) and it would be very helpful to know which pages require color. Normally, less than 10 pages in one of these documents requires color.

Hello,

We will add this to our feature request list for consideration, but as of now we don’t have any immediate plans for implementing this feature.

Thanks,
ceTe Software Support Team.

That would be fantastic. Do you guys give your developer's any input as far as prioritizing the "new features" list? It would be helpful to know want's planned for the next release and when it can be expected.

Hello,

Our developers select the new features based on their research. We have recently released Rasterizer v2.0 and as of now we do not have anything planned for next version yet.

Thanks,
ceTe Software Support Team.
