I have a bar chart with two series: current year sales and last year sales per account. I want to add a label (ideally across the top of both bars per account) which shows the % increase/decrease between the two bars.

I have a second chart where I want to do something similar. In that chart, I also use data labels to show the value represented by each of the bars.

I've tried several things so far without success. Is something like this possible?

Hello,

Other than turning on the Data Labels which basically display the value of the data point, there is no good way to add any other labels to the chart without knowing the location of top of the bars.

You can add a label using the Label page element if you know the exact location (x & y coordinates) on the bar chart. However, most of the time the bar carts are generated with dynamic data and it is not possible to determine the location of the top of the bars within the chart. If you want to add the label outside the chart (above or below the chart) you could do so with the Label page element.

Thanks,
