Hello,

is there a way to add elements to a page without using exact coordinates ?
Or is there a method to get the current max. coordinate used by the page wich i can use for the start of the next element ?

I would like to add a several tables to a page where i dont know the exact size of each table, just like:

Heading 1
Heading 2
Table 1
Heading 3
Table 2
...

Best regards,
Timo

Hello Timo,

Yes, you can achieve your requirements without any problem using our DynamicPDF Generator for Java product without any problem. You will need to keep track of the Y position and available space in the page. You can get the required height of the table, height of the page and Y position of the Table using the properties of Table and Page objects. You can refer the sample code which has sample code to overflow the contents of the Table to next page at: http://www.DynamicPDF.com/Support/Java_Help_Documentation_11_01/user-manual/TextContinuation.html .

Please feel free to download he evaluation edition of DynamicPDF Generator for Java product at: http://www.DynamicPDF.com/Products/DynamicPDFforJava/Download.csp. Also refer the sample examples downloaded with the product download.

If you have any technical difficulty in achieving your requirements then you can contact our support team at: support@cete.com so that they can help you to achieve your requirements.
