Bidi in DynamicPDF

Hi!

I have problem with correcting display arabic and hebrew strings in PDF. Label and TextArea doesn't display as this should by unicode bidirectional algorithm. May be you know way for solve this problem?

Hello Andrew,

You can add Arabic and Hebrew text to PDF documents without any problem. In order to use the Arabic and Hebrew characters you will have to use a TrueType or Type1 font which has support for the Arabic and Hebrew characters. You can refer to our  TrueTypeFont on our help documentation.

You will have to use the RightToLeft property of the Label or TextArea to show the text from right to left.

What exact problem are you having? Please be more specific on the problem you are having?

I have problem when RTL characters as a part of string with LTR direction. When I call setRightToLeft(true) then this method is apply for all string.

Hello Andrew,

It is not possible to set right to left behavior to individual set of characters or words with in a string. You will have to add separate labels and add the labels to required positions using X and Y coordinates.
